A BMW Motorrad Insured Warranty helps protects against the mechanical and electrical failure of a wide range of components on your motorcycle. Additionally, the policy offers you a choice of excess levels. You’ll pay this excess amount each time you make a claim, but including an excess can lower the cost of your premium.
You’ll also have the option to include Roadside Assistance when you buy our Insured Warranty product. This will provide breakdown assistance in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and abroad.

A BMW Motorrad Insured Warranty protects against the mechanical or electrical failure of a specified list of your bike’s components. Failure of covered components for normal degradation (wear and tear) is also included up to 100,000 miles from registration. Please note that this policy is available for BMW bikes with a mileage of up to 80,000 miles at the time of purchase.
BMW Motorrad Roadside Assistance provides assistance in the event of motoring emergencies in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and abroad. In the event of immobilisation, BMW Motorrad riders have access to a Roadside Assistance Centre, open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You’ll also receive a range of comprehensive benefits included as standard, such as a replacement vehicle and the redelivery of your motorcycle.
Our more basic level of emergency cover, BMW Motorrad Roadside Assistance Essential, offers assistance in the UK and Republic of Ireland. We’ll still arrange assistance at home or on the road and, if your bike can’t be fixed at the roadside, we’ll arrange recovery to the nearest authorised BMW Motorrad Retailer. It’s available for bikes which are a maximum of 10 years old, and those that have completed no more than 100,000 miles at the start of the policy.
BMW Motorrad Roadside Assistance can be purchased separately, or in conjunction with our Insured Warranty product.
